I was pondering “the fall of man” for a bit today and had an interesting question run through my mind. I’d be interested to hear the thoughts of my various theist friends and readers…
If Adam and Eve did not have knowledge of good and evil before partaking of the fruit of the tree, and disobeying God’s command not to eat of the tree was evil (as disobeying God is typically considered), how could they possibly be held responsible for doing evil, when they had no knowledge of good and evil until after the evil had been committed?
